Guide 1
How to prepare an inventory list for a closeout offer
The fastest offers start with a clear list. You do not need a special format. A spreadsheet, a line sheet or even a few photos is plenty to start, but the more of these details you include, the quicker and firmer the number can be:
- Product identity: item name, brand, and UPC or model number.
- Quantity: units per SKU, plus case pack and cartons per pallet.
- Condition: new and sealed, shelf-pulled, or damaged cartons. Be honest; surprises slow everything down.
- Packaging: retail-ready, old packaging, or customer-specific labels.
- Dates: expiration or best-by dates and lot codes where printed.
- Location and timing: where the goods sit, whether there is a loading dock, and when they need to be gone.
- Photos: a few shots of the product and of the pallets.
Send it through the offer form or to shay@shksales.com.
